RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

1. Do you offer returns or refunds?

At Shakira the Label, every piece is handcrafted in small batches. Because of this, we do not offer refunds. However, we are happy to assist with size exchanges or store credit if your size is unavailable, subject to the policy below. 

Note: Plus-size garments (3XL & above), sale products, kidswear, accessories, and made-to-order pieces, BOGO are not eligible for exchange or return.


2. How do I request Size exchange?

If the size doesn’t fit, we’re here to help ❤️
Please email us at orders@shakirathelabel.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Once approved, you will receive instructions to ship the product back to us.

Important: Shipments sent without prior email confirmation will be rejected.


3. What are the exchange conditions?

To be eligible:

  • Request must be raised within 2 days of delivery

  • Product must be unused, unwashed & unaltered

  • Tags & original packaging must be intact

  • Only 1 exchange per order is allowed

  • Exchange is subject to size availability

If the size is sold out, you will receive store credit (shipping & COD charges are not refunded) valid for 90 days.


4. Who pays for shipping during exchange?

We currently do not provide reverse pickup.
You must ship the product back to us and share the courier receipt + tracking details.

Shipping charges (both ways) are non-refundable and borne by the customer.


5. What items are not eligible for exchange?

We do not accept exchanges for:

  • Sale / discounted / BOGO products

  • Plus-size pieces (3XL & above — made to order)

  • Kidswear & accessories

  • Products purchased using store credit or gift cards

  • Custom or made-to-order items

  • Items returned without approval

  • Requests based on color/fabric preference or minor variations

10–12% color variation may occur due to lighting & screen settings.
These are not considered defects.


6. My item arrived damaged. What should I do?

Oh no! We’ve got you 🙏
Please email support@shakirathelabel.com within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Parcel opening video showing the issue (mandatory)

  • Order number & clear photos

After verification, we will provide a replacement at no extra cost.


7. Can I cancel my order?

Prepaid Orders

  • Not eligible for cancellation once placed

Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • Can be cancelled within 24 hours by contacting us

  • A ₹150 cancellation fee applies

If we cancel your order

In rare cases of quality issues or stock mismatch, we may cancel the order.
You’ll be notified and issued a full refund or store credit — your choice.


8. What if my return window is over?

We are unable to assist after 2 days of delivery, as this helps us maintain fairness and protect small-batch production.


9. How long does the exchange process take?

Once we receive your product and it passes quality check, your exchange or store credit will be processed within 5–7 working days.

DELIVERY RELATED 

1. I still haven’t received my order. Where is my order?

Hey there! 😊 Our standard delivery timeline is 10–15 business days, which includes processing + transit time. Delivery may vary depending on your location and courier availability.

Please allow us this window to get your handcrafted piece to you — we promise, it’s worth the wait 💛

Note: Tracking details are shared once the order is dispatched. After dispatch, delivery timelines are managed by the courier partner.


2. Why did the attempted delivery fail?

Delivery may fail for reasons beyond our control, including:

  1. Incorrect or incomplete address

  2. Consignee unavailable during delivery

  3. Incorrect or unreachable phone number

  4. Restricted or inaccessible address

  5. Non-payment at the time of delivery (for COD orders)

  6. Receiver has moved / shifted

If delivery fails on 3 attempts, the order will be returned to us.
In such cases, re-shipping charges will apply if the customer wishes to get the product re-dispatched.


3. What delivery options are available & are there any charges?

We currently offer the following delivery options:

Priority Dispatch applies only to dispatch speed, not courier transit time.
To request Priority Dispatch, please contact us via WhatsApp or email before placing your order. Once confirmed, you may pay ₹150 via GPay to secure priority processing.


4. Can I request urgent delivery?

We understand spfsecial occasions come up!
If you need your order urgently, please reach out to us before placing the order at support@shakirathelabel.com or via WhatsApp, and we will check availability and feasibility.

Care Instructions

At Shakira The Label, many of our garments are handcrafted using delicate, artisanal materials. To preserve the beauty and longevity of your pieces:

  • For silk, chiffon, chinnon, and crepe, dry clean or petrol wash only.

  • For Cottons Do not use bleach, harsh detergents, or soak in warm water as it may cause color bleeding or fabric damage.
  • Slight color bleed may occur in the first clean due to natural dyes and printing processes.
